What It Does

CrossFrame solves a common problem for motion designers: you build a great animation, then spend another hour duplicating comps, repositioning elements, and re-rendering everything at different aspect ratios. CrossFrame replaces that process by letting you work from a single master composition called the Global Stage, then preview and output to 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, or custom layouts without ever duplicating your work.

Key Features

Global Stage. Build your animation once in a single master comp. All formats draw from this source, so changes propagate without manual copying.

Multiple aspect ratio previews. Switch instantly between 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and 4:5 directly inside After Effects. Useful for checking how a title card or logo placement holds up across social platforms before rendering.

Workspace Overrides. When a specific format needs a position tweak or scale adjustment, Workspace Overrides let you make those changes per-format without touching the master layout. Useful for portrait formats where a centered element might need to shift up to clear caption safe zones.

Built-in guides. Includes TikTok safe area, caption safe zones, and custom margin guides so you can check platform requirements at a glance.

PNG snapshot export. Grab a quick PNG of the current frame in any format for client review or internal sharing, without rendering a full output.

Direct output. Render directly to the selected aspect ratio from within the panel, keeping the process contained.

Who It’s For

CrossFrame is aimed at motion designers and agencies regularly delivering content across social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and feed posts. If you find yourself duplicating the same comp three or four times per project just to resize it, this replaces that step. It’s also practical for broadcast teams working with multiple delivery specs.

Pricing

CrossFrame is a one-time purchase at $29.99 (currently discounted to $23.99 through May 9, 2026). A free trial is available from aescripts.com. Both single user and floating server licenses are offered.
