What It Does
Shape Shifters is a Tamagotchi-style virtual pet plugin for Adobe design apps. Instead of speeding up your workflow, it intentionally adds distractions. You hatch randomly generated creatures, keep them alive while working, and unlock cosmetic upgrades. If you neglect your pet, it dies.
Key Features
Over 3 million combinations. Each Shape Shifter has a unique name and appearance. When you hatch an egg, you get a randomly generated creature that no one else has.
Pixel economy. Keeping the plugin open while you work earns pixels. Spend them on mods (upgrades and evolutions) that change your pet’s appearance and abilities.
Daily outfits. Check in each day to earn new cosmetic layers. Missing days means missing outfits.
Real-time life and death. Your pet loses health continuously, even when the app is closed. If you take time off work without the “Unlimited PTO” mod, your pet will die and you’ll start over with a fresh egg, losing all cosmetics.
