What It Does
Write-On Animated Typefaces gives you 10 pre-animated type styles for After Effects, each with 84 characters. The animations use expression-driven masks to create write-on effects without the usual pen tool work. You get 840 total animated characters across all styles, each with three layers of customization.
The tool integrates with Font Manager for text layout and includes an optional Illustrator brush stroke layer for added texture.
Key Features
Expression-driven animation. All character animations run on expressions, so you skip manual masking and keyframing. Adjust timing and style parameters instead of drawing paths.
Stroke customization. Control stroke color, weight, thickness, roundness, chisel-tip angle, hardness, opacity, spacing, and flow. Character rotation and X/Y scale are also adjustable, along with drop shadow parameters.
Null layer parent. Each character setup includes a null layer for parenting effects like flares or particles to the write-on animation.
Illustrator brush layer. Add an Illustrator brush stroke layer for more stylistic control beyond the standard After Effects stroke options.
Font Manager compatibility. Works with Font Manager for faster text layout across compositions.
