SolariText generates a fully animated 3D split-flap board from any text layer. Select a text layer, run the script, and get a complete split-flap animation with no pre-built cards, no image folders, and no manual layer setup. The result mimics mechanical departure boards, complete with sequential flips, 3D depth, shadows, and lighting.
After creation, everything remains editable. Adjust animation speed, spacing, sequencing modes, and flip behavior without rebuilding the board.

Sequencing modes. Choose how characters flip into place. Sequential mode animates letters one by one. Range-based flip count controls randomization. “Start with empty card” begins from blank flaps, while “Appear on start” shows cards immediately.
Initial text option. Animate from one phrase to another by setting an initial text state, useful for airport-style board transitions.
Multi-line and multilingual support. Works with multiple lines of text and handles different character sets.
FlipBoard Controls. Generated boards include a controller layer where you can adjust parameters like animation speed, card spacing, and sequencing after creation. Use the rebuild function to apply changes across the board.
