What It Does
Social Exporter automates the process of exporting After Effects compositions to different social media platforms. Instead of manually creating separate compositions for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, you select the platforms you need and export everything in one click. The plugin handles the sizing, frame rates, and composition setup, then sends everything to the After Effects Render Queue.
Key Features
Automatic Render Folder creation. When you open a composition and click Refresh, the plugin creates a dedicated Render folder for your project automatically.
Ready-made platform presets. Built-in presets for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms let you export without measuring aspect ratios or looking up recommended sizes.
Custom presets. Create your own export presets with specific dimensions and frame rates when the built-in options don’t fit your needs.
Three export modes. Individual mode uses each preset’s specific settings (nest, duplicate, or custom frame rate). All Duplicate creates new compositions with all layers copied inside. All Nest places your main composition inside new sized compositions, useful for cropping.
Global Frame Rate control. Override frame rates across all selected presets when you need consistent timing.
Render Queue integration. After you click Export Now, the plugin prepares all compositions and adds them to the After Effects Render Queue. You choose the output format (MP4, MOV, ProRes, etc.) and start rendering.
