What It Does

Set Matte Texture Pack 02 provides three animated textures, each with 12 unique frames for looping. The textures are scanned at 8K resolution with 16-bit color depth and delivered in both EXR and PNG formats. The 12-frame sequences make it straightforward to create seamless loops without manual blending or frame adjustments.

The pack works across multiple applications, including After Effects, Cinema 4D, Nuke, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. Each texture comes in multiple resolutions (8K, 4K, 2K, 1080p, 720p) to match project requirements and rendering constraints.

Key Features

12-frame sequences. Each texture includes 12 distinct frames rather than a single static file. This creates natural movement when cycled, and the sequence loops cleanly back to frame one.

8K source resolution. Textures are scanned at 7680×4320 with 16-bit color. The high bit depth preserves detail when color grading or compositing. Files are provided in smaller resolutions if 8K exceeds project needs.

EXR and PNG formats. The 16-bit EXR files work in After Effects CC 2015 and later. PNG versions support older software or workflows requiring standard formats.

Render-optimized. The creators tested file formats and resolutions to balance quality against render speed. The pack includes a 720p version for previews or less demanding scenes.

Who It’s For

Motion designers adding analog texture to digital work will find the looping sequences save time compared to creating custom texture animations. The pack pairs well with Ray Dynamic Texture, a separate plugin that applies textures to mattes in After Effects.

The multiple resolutions suit both high-end compositing (where 8K matches camera originals) and broadcast work (where 1080p is standard). The 12-frame structure works for projects needing subtle texture variation without complex animation.
