What It Does
Okomito Next is an animated sans serif typeface designed for motion designers working with dynamic text. The family includes 14 weights and styles, covering 1466 animated glyphs. Each character comes with pre-built animations that blend quick, explosive reveals with soft, wavy motion. Works natively in After Effects as pre-composed characters.
Key Features
Customizable animation controls. Each glyph supports up to 4 colors or gradients. Secondary animation toggles control driver visibility, bullet visibility, and bullet direction. A random seed parameter and mask distortion let you vary the look per instance.
Full character set. Covers uppercase, lowercase, accented characters (À–ß), numerals, and common punctuation. The static font version includes 263 additional characters.
JSX version included. Lighter-weight format built with compCode that integrates with Font Manager. Requires Font Manager (free trial available) to use.
Controller workflow. Works with Font Manager for typing, sizing, tracking, line spacing, and text alignment. Font Manager auto-generates a controller for Okomito Next’s settings. Alternatively, use the free Animography Controller to drag characters into comps and parent settings with one click.

Pay-what-you-want model. Individual animated weights are listed at $35 each. The full bundle of all animated weights and styles is 50% off. Adding the static typeface family brings the discount to 60%. Buying 4 or more Animography typefaces adds another 25% discount on top.
