What It Does
MographAE arranges and animates multiple layers using cloners and effectors. Pick a cloner to organize layers into grids, radial arrays, or lines, then apply effectors to drive animation based on proximity, layer index, or noise patterns. Built for motion graphics work that requires repeating elements.
Key Features
Grid Cloner. Arranges layers into a grid with customizable rows and columns.
Array Cloner. Distributes layers in a radial pattern around a center point.
Linear Cloner. Lines up layers in a straight path.
Field Effector. Animates layer properties based on distance from a field position. Includes controls for easing curves, randomness, delay, and field shape. Useful for staggered reveals or wave animations that ripple outward.
Step Effector. Drives properties based on layer order, letting you sequence animation across a stack of clones without manual keyframing.
Noise Effector. Applies random noise patterns to layer transforms. Good for organic movement or subtle variation across cloned elements.
Inheritance. Morphs layer position and rotation when transitioning between different cloners, creating smooth state changes without snapping.
Target. Points layers toward a target position and adds repulsion based on proximity.
Who It’s For
Motion designers working on title sequences, kinetic typography, or geometric layouts where you need many layers behaving similarly but with variation. If you’re animating grids of cards, repeating UI elements, or patterns that react to a central point, the effectors handle the math.
