What It Does
League Spartan V2 is an animated typeface based on the classic ATF Spartan sans-serif family. Type directly in After Effects to create animated text with minimal geometric forms. The plugin includes bold and regular weights, each with frame-by-frame motion designed to add energy without overwhelming the clean letterforms.
Key Features
Color customization. Adjust three color channels (color 1, color 2, and stroke color) plus stroke width from a controller panel. Changes apply instantly to typed text.
JSX and .aep formats. The lightweight JSX version integrates with Font Manager for text-style workflows. A standard .aep file with animated characters is also included.
Typing workflow. Use with Font Manager to set size, tracking, line spacing, and text alignment. Font Manager auto-generates a controller for League Spartan settings. Alternatively, use the free Animography Controller to drag characters manually.
Static companion fonts. The non-animated League Spartan family (8 weights) is available free from The League of Movable Type under an open source license for broader design use.
