What It Does

Kurulumun generates curly parametric splines in Cinema 4D that twist 90 degrees around a random axis. Inspired by Structure Synth’s Nouveau Variations, it brings procedural spline generation to C4D with full parametric control.

Key Features

Random seed control. Set the seed value to control the random generation pattern, making results repeatable.

Unlimited branches and segments. Create structures with as many branches as you need. Adjust segment count to control the number of half-arcs in each spline.

Profile spline support. Drop any closed spline into the profile slot to define the cross-section. Adjust profile width along the height and set trim in/out points.

Spline adjustment controls. Modify scale, tension, and subdivision levels. Trim endpoints to avoid distortions. Twist splines along their height for additional variation.

The workflow is straightforward: define a random seed, set branch count, drop in a profile spline, and adjust parameters. All changes happen in real time since everything stays parametric.

Who It’s For

Motion designers working in Cinema 4D who need organic, twisted spline structures. Useful for abstract motion graphics, decorative elements, or generative art pieces. Works well for title sequences or background elements that need a procedural, Art Nouveau-inspired look.

Requires the Mograph module, using MoSpline and L-System to operate. Does not work with Cinema 4D Lite since third-party Python plugins aren’t supported in that version.
