What It Does
Jump Keyframe solves a common animation editing problem: adjusting the final keyframe of an animation without manually scrubbing to it first. Set a new value anywhere after the last keyframe, and the script automatically replaces that last keyframe with your new value. The original timing, easing curves, and label color all stay intact.
This becomes particularly useful when editing multiple layers or properties that have different timing. Instead of jumping between keyframes across a complex timeline, you can make quick adjustments directly in the comp panel.
Key Features
One-click operation. Change any animated property’s value after its last keyframe. The script detects the change and replaces the original last keyframe while maintaining all its attributes.
Multi-layer editing. Works simultaneously across multiple layers and properties, even when they have different keyframe timings. No need to edit each animation separately.
KBar integration. Run the script directly from KBar with customizable keyboard shortcuts, keeping your UI cleaner and your workflow faster.
Preserves keyframe attributes. Timing, easing curves, and label colors transfer to the new keyframe automatically. You don’t lose any animation data when making changes.
Who It’s For
Motion designers who spend time fine-tuning animations will save the most time. If you frequently adjust the final state of animated properties or work with complex timelines where manually navigating to keyframes slows you down, this script removes that friction.
Animators working on multiple properties at once, especially with staggered timing, will find the multi-layer support particularly helpful.
Pricing
Jump Keyframe costs $9.99 for a single-user license. A trial version is available to test before purchase. The script is compatible with After Effects 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
