What It Does

Icon Library puts 47,543 icons from popular open source libraries directly inside After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Search, browse, and import icons as native shape layers that scale to any resolution. The plugin includes 14 icon sets: Bootstrap, Boxicons, Carbon, Fluent UI, Font Awesome 6, Huge Icons, Iconoir, Material Design, MynaUI, Phosphor, Remix, Tabler, Themify, and Typicons.

Key Features

Favorites and recents. Right-click any icon to save it to your favorites library for quick access later. The recently used library automatically tracks your last 100 icons across all sets.

Bulk import. When displaying fewer than 200 icons, import all visible results at once, each on its own layer. Useful for building icon sheets or grabbing variations of a symbol.

Global search. Search across all libraries at once instead of browsing one set at a time. Keywords help match your terminology to the icon’s actual name.

Custom SVG support (experimental). Paste SVG code directly into the plugin to convert it to a shape layer. Basic properties work, but masks, gradients, and filters aren’t yet supported.

Expression-driven masks. Imported icons use expressions for their paths, making them easy to adjust and animate without manually editing Bezier curves.

Resizable interface. Scale the icon grid to fit your workspace, whether you’re working on a laptop or multiple monitors.

Who It’s For

Motion designers who regularly need icons for UI mockups, explainer videos, or infographics. Instead of searching stock sites or maintaining a personal library, browse thousands of options without leaving After Effects.

Pricing

Pay what you want (minimum $1). The plugin also includes a 7-day free trial limited to the first 200 icons of each library. Created by Jordan Steele.
