What It Does

Google Earth Studio Toolkit adds geographic markers, labels, and connecting elements to Google Earth Studio animations inside After Effects. Attach pins and labels to null layers, then create customizable connection lines, routes, and areas between them. All elements work in full 3D, supporting After Effects’ native 3D transforms, lighting, and extrusion depth.

Key Features

Pin and Label Management. Attach pins and labels to selected null layers. The script includes a checkbox to hide elements when they face away from the camera, which keeps pins on the far side of the Earth from cluttering the view.

Dynamic Connections. Create connection lines, routes, and areas between null layers with adjustable stroke width, color, and animation settings. These connections update as your null layers move.

Full 3D Support. All generated elements exist in 3D space, not just as 2D overlays. This means you can apply 3D transforms, lighting, camera angles, and extrusion depth using After Effects’ built-in tools.

Tabbed Interface. The script panel organizes pin, label, and connection controls into separate tabs for easier navigation during setup.

Who It’s For

Useful for documentaries, corporate presentations, educational videos, or any project that requires geographic annotations on Google Earth Studio footage. If you regularly export Earth Studio animations and need to mark locations or show travel routes, this handles the repetitive setup work.
