ft-Lens Distortion Bundle handles lens distortion correction and chromatic aberration in After Effects and Premiere Pro. Instead of jumping between matchmove software and compositing apps to distort and undistort footage, you manage it all in one place. Undistort live footage for tracking, distort CG renders to match the original lens, and apply chromatic aberration as a finishing touch.
The bundle includes two plugins: ft-Lens Distortion Pro for lens correction and effects, and ft-Vignetting Pro for customizable vignetting.
Key Features
ft-Lens Distortion Pro provides quick lens distortion correction and chromatic aberration handling. You can undistort wide-angle footage for match-moving, apply the same distortion to CG renders, or add chromatic aberration creatively. Version 1.0 introduced a faster subsampling function, replacing Adobe’s original implementation that caused slowdowns.
ft-Vignetting Pro offers control over vignette shape (circle, ellipse, square, rectangle), size, feather amount, and feather mode (linear, smooth, ultra smooth). You can reposition the center, tint the vignette with color, set blending modes like Add or Multiply, and add noise with color tint and time animation. Opacity control lets you dial in the exact transparency.
Both plugins work in After Effects CS6 through 2024 and Premiere Pro CS6 through 2024.
