What It Does
Easy Arrows auto-orients arrows or custom graphics to a Shape Layer path. Draw a path, click Create Easy Arrow, and you’re done. The script handles all the expressions and parenting that would normally require manual setup.
You can use the built-in arrow graphics or attach your own compositions and layers. After running the script, you keep full control over the path, styling, and animation. Change the path whenever you want, click Update Arrow, and the setup adjusts.
Key Features
Easy Arrow Completion. Controls where the arrow sits along the path. Animate this value to move the arrow from start to finish.
Easy Arrow Length. Sets how much stroke trails behind the arrow head. Useful for drawing on effect.
Easy Arrow Enable End. Locks the endpoint of the stroke so only the arrow head moves, or unlocks it for full stroke animation.
Easy Arrow Reverse Direction. Flips the arrow’s orientation without redrawing the path.
Easy Arrow Size. Scales the stroke width and arrow head proportionally. Change the whole setup’s thickness in one slider.
Easy Arrow Color. Updates both the stroke and arrow head color together.
Update Arrow. Refreshes the setup after you edit the original path. You’re not locked into your first shape.
Precomp option. Moves the Easy Arrows layers into a new composition for duplicating the setup across multiple instances.
