What It Does

Anodine is an animated typeface for After Effects that combines straight geometric lines with bouncy, elastic motion. Each character comes pre-animated with spring physics, creating text that moves with personality. Available as both JSX files (for use with Font Manager) and organized .aep projects, it includes uppercase A-Z and numbers 0-9.

Key Features

8 customizable colors. Change the typeface palette to match your project without rebuilding animations.

Elasticity and damping controls. Adjust how much bounce and spring each character has. Make animations subtle or exaggerated.

Stroke width adjustments. Modify line thickness while maintaining the animated motion.

JSX format support. Works with Font Manager for typing animated text like a regular font, complete with tracking, line spacing, and alignment controls. The plugin automatically generates a controller for customization.

Characters are delivered in both lightweight JSX format and traditional After Effects project files. The JSX version integrates with Font Manager to let you type animated text directly, while the .aep format gives you organized comps for manual placement.

Who It’s For

Motion designers working on title sequences, explainer videos, or kinetic typography projects. Useful when you need animated text without building character animations from scratch. The straight-line aesthetic works for tech branding, product launches, or any project that needs geometric typography with motion.

Compatible with After Effects 2020 through 2024. A 7-day trial (characters A, B, C) is available through Font Manager.

Pricing

Pay-what-you-want pricing with a suggested price of $35. The license covers use on up to 3 computers at one location with one backup copy permitted. This is a perpetual license, not a subscription.

The free trial requires Font Manager, which also offers its own trial period.
