What It Does
Ink is an animated typeface with liquid-style cell animation applied to a rounded sans serif design. It includes uppercase letters (A-Z), numbers (0-9), and basic punctuation (. : ! ?). The animations give each character a flowing, organic quality suited to projects that need movement without heavy stylization.

Liquid cell animation. Each letter animates with a fluid, hand-drawn quality. The motion is smooth and minimal, making it readable at various sizes.
JSX format. The typeface comes as a lightweight JSX file that integrates with Font Manager. You also get an organized After Effects project file with all animated characters as individual comps.
Single color customization. Ink supports one color per character. You can adjust the color through the typeface’s controls.
Font Manager integration. Type directly in After Effects using Font Manager. Set size, tracking, line spacing, alignment, and time offset without manually placing characters. Font Manager automatically generates a controller for these settings.
Animography Controller support. The free Animography Controller plugin lets you drag characters into your comp and parent controller settings with one click.
Free trial. A 7-day trial gives you access to the A, B, and C characters. Requires Font Manager, which has its own free trial.

Ink works for title cards, lower thirds, or anywhere you need animated text that doesn’t overpower your composition. The rounded sans serif design and liquid animation style fit branding projects, explainer videos, or motion graphics where you want movement that feels handcrafted.
Since it’s uppercase only with limited punctuation, it’s best for short headlines and titles rather than body text or longer captions.

Ink uses a pay-what-you-want pricing model. You choose the amount when you purchase. The typeface is no longer actively sold as a standalone product but may appear in bundles. Ordering four or more Animography typefaces together saves 25%, applied automatically at checkout.
