What It Does

Aep to Mogrt Pro converts After Effects compositions into Motion Graphics Templates (.mogrt files) with batch processing. Instead of manually adding properties to the Essential Graphics Panel one at a time, the plugin lets you populate entire comps in a single click, then export them with preview images, video thumbnails, and keywords.

Key Features

One-click property addition. Select any property, media file, or pre-comp and add it to the Essential Graphics Panel without the usual multi-step process.

Controller layer batch processing. Tag a layer as “Controller” and the plugin automatically adds all its properties to the panel in one pass. Useful for templates with dozens of exposed parameters.

Automatic font customization. Enable font style and size editing for all text layers without opening each one individually. The plugin handles it when generating the .mogrt.

Preview generation. Attach image or video previews to your .mogrt files so they display properly in Premiere Pro’s Essential Graphics browser and work with AEVIEWER.

Batch export. Export multiple compositions at once. The plugin can scan your project for comps tagged with “Aeviewer” comments and process them all.

Folder structure retention. Exported .mogrt files keep the same folder hierarchy as your After Effects project panel.

Group collapsing. Automatically collapse property groups in the exported template for cleaner organization.

Who It’s For

Motion designers who build .mogrt templates for clients or template marketplaces. If you’re exporting multiple versions of a template (localized versions, color variants, etc.) or maintaining a library of reusable graphics, the batch features save hours of repetitive work.

Pricing

The plugin uses a pay-what-you-want model. There’s a free version with basic export and property addition, and a Pro version (your choice of price) that adds batch processing, media replacement, preview embedding, and controller layer support. If you purchased the pay-what-you-want version after October 2020, upgrading to the standard Pro license ($59.99) gives you a discount equal to what you previously paid.
