What It Does
Voyager brings a Swiss-inspired sans serif typeface into motion. The plugin provides an animated bold-weight typeface built for motion graphics work in After Effects. Import it as an organized .aep file or use the lightweight JSX format, which integrates with Font Manager for a typing-based workflow.
The animated version handles uppercase, lowercase, numerals, international characters, punctuation, and ligatures. The static version offers five weights plus italics for non-animated use.
Key Features
The typeface includes basic customization controls: main color, stroke color, and stroke width. These parameters let you match the typeface to your project’s visual style without rebuilding characters.
The character set covers standard Latin alphabet (A-Z with accented variants), numbers (0-9), punctuation (!¡?¿.,;’”*®™), currency symbols ($€¥£¢), and math operators (+-÷=). The design follows geometric principles with clean, legible forms that work across different sizes.
Two format options: a standard After Effects project file (.aep) with organized character layers, or a JSX version for integration with Font Manager. The JSX format keeps file sizes down and works within Font Manager’s text layer workflow.
Font Manager compatibility (sold separately) adds typing-based text creation, size control, tracking, line spacing, and time offset adjustments. Without it, you work with the .aep file’s precomposed characters.
Type design comes from Maarten van ‘t Wout. Animation work by Gilles Kergadallan.

Voyager uses a pay-what-you-want pricing model. You set your own price when purchasing, with the animated typeface version typically valued around $38 on aescripts.com based on similar Animography products. The static version (five weights plus italics, no animation) is a separate purchase.
