What It Does
Vigoro generates offset animations by staggering timing, scale, rotation, and other properties across stacks of layers. You set start and end markers on a layer stack, apply offsets and tweaks through a dockable panel, then bake the result for performance. The plugin handles everything from simple animated labels to full illustrations with radial or linear distributions, all controlled through over 150 keyframeable options.
Key Features
Offsets. Apply time, scale, rotation, and other property offsets to create fluid motion with as few as two keyframes. The offset system staggers transformations across your layer stack.
Color control. Set top and bottom colors for automatic gradient fills, or sample layers to define custom fill and stroke colors. Animate these gradients or combine them with additional effects.
Cut Effects. Five different cut effects add variety to your animations, each with multiple adjustable parameters.
Distribution. Arrange layers radially or linearly. 3D distributions are fully supported, and you can adjust spacing and orientation.
Speed Modifiers. Use existing keyframe velocity to add movement and transformations without additional keyframing.
Cloner. Duplicate shapes with offset clones to build complex compositions from simple elements.
Text layers. Apply distributions and cuts to text, or add wiggle expressions for kinetic type effects.
Convert Layers. Bring precomps, videos, images, or other assets into Vigoro animations.
3D layers. Every layer is set up for 3D use. Add cameras, lights, or other 3D elements to your compositions.
Custom Layer Controls. Adjust individual layers through the Effects panel. Move a layer off-axis, change its color, or arrange layers into custom patterns. Controls appear per-layer for granular adjustments.
Bake/Freeze panel. Convert your setup into baked keyframes to improve playback performance. Choose which aspects to freeze, lock layers to protect them, and run the bake. The panel also works outside Vigoro for general use.
