What It Does
The LoopMaker automates the process of creating seamless dissolving loops from selected layers, footage, or compositions. Select your layers, set in and out points, and the script pre-composes them with a dissolving loop effect. It then adds an expression that lets you stretch the looped comp infinitely from either endpoint.
Key Features
One-click looping. Select any number of layers and run the script. It calculates the loop range based on the furthest in-point and last out-point across all selected items.
Customizable dissolve. Specify the dissolve length in frames. The script creates a crossfade between the end and beginning of your loop, hiding the seam.
Blend mode option. For items with transparency, enable blend mode to use an optical dissolve instead of opacity-based, preventing unwanted transparency buildup.
Expression-based stretching. The resulting pre-comp includes an expression that lets you drag the layer duration as long as you need. The loop repeats without manual duplication.
Dockable interface. Compact panel that stays accessible in your workspace. Available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean, German, French, and Italian.
