What It Does
Textlab Pro consolidates text analysis, batch editing, and styling into a single panel for After Effects. Check whether text fits within safe zones for six aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, 2:3, 3:4), fix common text layer problems across multiple comps at once, and apply animations or style treatments without switching panels.
The plugin labels each text layer as Safe, Risky, or Outside based on its position in the frame, with a visual preview showing exactly where content might get cropped. Export a quality report covering total text layers, scale issues, average read time, anchor problems, colors used, expressions, and effects, useful for client reviews or team handoffs.

Safe Zone Analysis covers six aspect ratios simultaneously. Select a ratio and see which layers fall outside the safe zone before rendering.
Fix All Issues resets scale to 100%, centers anchor points, and trims whitespace across all selected text layers in one click. The Operations tab also includes Case Converter (UPPER, lower, Title, Sentence), Auto Rename, Fit Comp to Text with adjustable padding, and Find Placeholders for spotting temporary content.
Text Animations offer eight basic types (Fade, Scale, Up, Down, Left, Right, Pop, Blur) with live preview and adjustable duration and easing. Switch to the Presets tab for 15 FFX presets, each with an animated thumbnail showing the effect before you apply it.
Style Sync copies font, size, color, and tracking from one text layer and pastes it onto others instantly. Multi-Outline adds up to three customizable outline strokes with Sports, Retro, Neon, and Custom presets. Per-Character Color applies color per character using palette presets, gradient, or alternate modes with a Color Offset control. Stroke Reveal animates an outline drawing effect in Wave, Sync, or Traveling animation modes, with Clean, Neon, or Trail styles.
