What It Does

Text Split and Animate breaks input text into separate layers based on rules you define, then applies animation presets, camera movements, and effects. Instead of manually creating and timing individual text layers for kinetic typography or subtitles, you configure the split behavior and output settings, then execute.

Key Features

Flexible text splitting. Define how text divides using separator rules or manual method. The plugin supports both left-to-right languages (like English) and right-to-left languages (like Hebrew), reading direction affects layer order and animation.

Camera animation with motion controls. Add camera movement to text reveals with Easy Ease and Wiggle settings. Manual refinement options let you adjust properties after initial setup.

Built-in animation presets. Choose from animation methods for text layer reveals, or set to ‘None’ if you only need the split without motion.

Effects and styling options. Apply Echo or CC Griddler effects to text layers. Set random font colors or use your default Character palette color. Control opacity transitions between splits and individual layer duration.

Who It’s For

Useful for motion designers building title sequences where each word or phrase needs separate timing, or for subtitle workflows where manual layer creation slows you down. The language direction support makes it practical for multilingual projects.
