What It Does

Super Morphings transforms one shape or icon into another with a single click. Developed by Motion Design School, it handles the tedious path interpolation work that normally requires manual keyframing and expression writing. Select your start and end shapes, apply the morph, and the plugin generates the animation automatically.

The plugin supports multiple morphs across many objects in the same composition, letting you chain transformations or run several morphs simultaneously. You can also apply trails to show motion paths or use the slicer tool to cut morphs into segments.

Key Features

One-click morphing. Select any two shape layers and generate a morph instantly. No manual path manipulation required.

Multiple object morphing. Run many morphs in parallel across different objects. Useful for icon transitions or multi-element animations.

Trail effects. Add visual trails that follow the morph animation, creating frame-by-frame style motion graphics.

Slicer tool. Cut morphs into segments for staggered or split animations.

Linear morphing option. Hold Ctrl/Cmd while applying a morph to use linear interpolation instead of curved paths. Added in version 1.0.4.

Easy customization. Adjust morph parameters with controls similar to Cinema 4D’s helix tool, making tweaks straightforward.

Who It’s For

Motion designers working on icon animations, logo reveals, or scene transitions. If you regularly morph shapes between states (like morphing a play button into a pause icon), this plugin saves the manual path work. Also useful for anyone creating kinetic typography or abstract motion graphics where shapes need to flow into each other.

Pricing

Super Morphings uses a pay-what-you-want model. The suggested price is $45, but you can choose your own amount. This is a one-time purchase with no subscription. A trial version is available to test before buying.
