What It Does
Super 3D extends After Effects’ native 3D engine (version 24.1+) with a library of parametric primitives, shape-to-3D generators, and texture controls. You can import custom 3D models in GLB/GLTF format, adjust materials, and convert 2D shapes to 3D objects without leaving After Effects. It’s built for motion designers who want 3D modeling tools inside their compositing workspace.
Key Features
3D primitives library. Pre-built shapes (cubes, spheres, cylinders) you can drop into a comp and customize with parametric controls. Size, depth, and bevel parameters adjust in real time.
Parametric rigs. Wave Surface, Curved Plate, Twisted Prism, and Spiral generators let you create dynamic geometric forms. Adjust parameters to animate the structure.
Shape generators. The Extruder, Lathe, and Tube tools convert vector paths to 3D. Draw a shape layer, run it through a generator, and adjust depth or rotation.
GLTF model support. Import custom 3D models with drag-and-drop material replacement. Multi-material editing lets you adjust different parts of a model separately. Material controls include metallic, roughness, normal intensity, and base color parameters.
