What It Does

StageTool generates pixel mappings for LED stage installations within After Effects. You specify LED tile properties, create slices, position them to match your stage layout, and export everything to Resolume Arena (versions 5, 6, and 7) as XML.

Key Features

Multiple output compositions. Generate different mapping configurations for different stage setups or shows.

Visual tile feedback. Preview your LED layout with checkerboard patterns, outlines, cross indicators, and position markers. Add your own logo to slices.

Live repositioning. Move slices around, and position text layers update automatically. Adjust color, scale, and rotation through input parameters.

Negative tiles. Remove portions of a slice using negative shapes, useful for working around stage obstacles.

One-click export. Generate composition screenshots, mask images, and Resolume XML files from a single export panel.

Who It’s For

Designed for VJs, lighting designers, and motion graphics artists creating content for LED stage installations. If you’re mapping video to physical LED tiles for concerts, festivals, or corporate events, this handles the technical pixel mapping so you can focus on content.
