What It Does

SoundBox provides a dockable panel for managing sound effects in After Effects. Instead of searching through folders, you preview audio clips and drop them directly at the playhead or specific timeline positions. You can build a library of custom SFX folders alongside the included effects.

Key Features

90 included sound effects. Categorized whooshes, hits, clicks, and transitions ready to use.

Playhead-based preview. Test entire categories of sounds at the current timeline position without disrupting your work.

Custom library support. Add your own SFX folders to centralize all audio assets in one panel.

Audio utilities. Reverse audio, add delay or modulation, adjust volume in small increments, and use an improved audio-to-keyframes converter for reactive animation.

Marker-based editing. Apply fade-ins, fade-outs, and stereo pans using markers. Adjustments stay visible and easy to modify later.

One-click timeline placement. Send sounds to the timeline from the panel without dragging files.

Who It’s For

Motion designers who add sound effects to animations. If you’re tired of hunting through file browsers mid-project or want faster access to common SFX, this script keeps audio tools in one place.
