What It Does

skinAnchor overlays a nine-position grid on your layers, letting you click to instantly move the anchor point to top-left, center, bottom-right, or any of the six other positions. Instead of manually dragging or typing values, you click where you want the anchor point to go.

Hold Shift while adjusting layer position and the anchor point stays fixed, so you can reposition layers without breaking existing keyframes.

Key Features

Nine-point grid. Click any of the nine overlay positions (corners, edges, center) to place the anchor point there. Works on any layer type.

Shift-click position adjustment. Hold Shift while moving a layer and the anchor point doesn’t budge. Useful when you need to reframe a layer without disturbing rotation or scale keyframes centered on that anchor.

Customizable skins. Hold Alt and click to open a skin selection menu. Choose between sleek minimal styles or quirky visual themes (like a koala), then relaunch the script. This lets you match skinAnchor to your workspace aesthetic or just make it easier to spot.

Who It’s For

Animators who frequently adjust anchor points for rotation, scale, or parenting. If you’re rigging character layers, aligning text boxes, or building kinetic graphics where anchor placement matters, this tool removes the tedium of manual anchor point dragging.

Pricing

skinAnchor uses a pay-what-you-want model with a suggested minimum of $9.99. Individual users can pay any amount. Businesses and teams must pay the suggested price for a valid license.
