What It Does

rd: Scooter displays a palette for adjusting layer settings without manually dragging in the timeline. You can slip and slide layer footage source, in/out range, markers, and keyframes using different combinations of these settings for precise control.

The script includes four navigation buttons with customizable frame offsets that save between sessions, letting you jump forward or backward by your preferred increment.

Key Features

Combined layer adjustments. Change multiple layer properties at once by selecting different combinations of footage source, in/out points, markers, and keyframes. This gives you more control than adjusting each property separately.

Customizable navigation. Four buttons with user-defined frame offsets let you nudge settings forward or backward. Set your preferred increments once and they’re saved for future use.

Dockable panel. Place the script in the ScriptUI Panels subfolder to access it from the Window menu as a persistent panel.

Selective keyframe shifting. Process only selected keyframes on a layer rather than all of them, though this works only on the first selected layer and may take time with large keyframe counts.

Who It’s For

Useful for editors who frequently adjust layer timing or need to offset multiple properties at once. If you find yourself repeatedly nudging footage source points or shifting markers while maintaining keyframe relationships, this palette speeds up those operations.
