What It Does
RasterFast toggles the “continuously rasterize” and “collapse transformation” switches on layers throughout your After Effects project. One click ensures your renders stay sharp instead of pixelated because you forgot to check a box somewhere in a 200-comp project.
You choose which layer types to target (precomps, Illustrator files, or both), decide whether to process the entire project or just the current comp, and click. The script handles the rest.
Key Features
Project or comp scope. Target every comp in your project file, or limit the operation to whatever comp you have open.
Layer type filtering. Apply the switches only to precomps, only to Illustrator files, or both. Useful when you need vector assets crisp but want to leave other layer types alone.
Single-click automation. No manual searching through comps. The script scans and applies settings in one pass.
Who It’s For
Motion designers working with complex projects where vector assets or nested comps are scattered across dozens of compositions. Anyone who’s waited through a long render only to find a blurry icon because one layer wasn’t set to continuously rasterize.
Also helpful if you frequently import Illustrator files and want them sharp by default without manually toggling switches every time.
Pricing
RasterFast uses a pay-what-you-want model. Individual users can download it at any price (suggested minimum: $4.99). Businesses and teams are expected to pay the suggested amount to receive a valid license.
