What It Does
Quick Delete & Reset 2 removes or toggles layer elements across multiple layers or entire compositions at once. Delete all keyframes from selected layers while preserving their current values, strip out disabled expressions, or reset transformations without manually clicking through each property. The script works at four different scope levels: selected layers, the active composition, selected compositions in the project panel, or the entire project.
Key Features
Delete Keyframes. Removes all keyframes from a layer but keeps property values frozen at the current time indicator position. Useful for collapsing animated layers into static states without losing your frame-perfect positioning.
Effects Management. Delete all effects, delete only disabled effects (Shift+Click), or toggle effects on and off without opening property groups. The Shift+Click modifier targets disabled effects specifically, letting you clean up leftover test effects.
Expression Controls. Delete all expressions, delete only disabled ones (Shift+Click), or enable and disable them in bulk. Handy when debugging expression-heavy projects or temporarily turning off scripted behaviors.
Masks and Markers. Delete all masks or layer markers in one click. No more drilling into each layer’s mask group to remove outdated paths.
Reset Transformations. Returns position, scale, rotation, and anchor point to default values. The Reset All button clears every adjustable property on a layer at once.
Scope Control. Choose whether to process just selected layers, everything in the active comp, selected comps in the project panel, or the entire project. This makes cleanup operations scalable from single-layer tweaks to project-wide overhauls.
Customizable Toolbar. Hide buttons for features you don’t use (like expressions if you never write them) and resize the panel to fit your workspace. Switch between icon and text buttons based on preference.
