What It Does
QueueUp manages render settings and output destinations across multiple After Effects projects. If you work on different jobs throughout the day with varying preview and final deliverable specs, this script prevents the common mistake of rendering to the wrong folder or using incorrect settings.
The script organizes each job into three sections: Job & Folder, Preview Settings, and Final Settings. When you queue compositions, preview renders land in your specified output folder while final renders automatically route to a /finals subfolder.
Key Features
Job-based configuration. Create separate entries for each project, each storing its own output folder and render template preferences. Switch between jobs with a click.
Two-tier rendering. Queue compositions using either preview or final settings. The script applies the correct output module template and routes files to the appropriate destination.
Settings persistence. Your configurations save between sessions and automatically migrate when upgrading to newer After Effects versions.
Who It’s For
Useful if you juggle multiple clients or project types daily, especially when preview specs differ from final deliverables. The script assumes you already have render output module templates created in After Effects.
