What It Does
PQ Art Parts is a library of over 80 handmade visual elements created for use as luma mattes in After Effects. The collection includes wipes, frames, edges, brush strokes, bubbles, and lower thirds, all painted or inked by hand and shot in 4K resolution. Drop an element above your layer, set it to luma matte mode, and the hand-painted texture masks your footage.
Key Features
Handmade elements. Every piece was painted, inked, or sketched, then photographed in very high resolution (3840x2160 or square crop). Nothing here is digitally generated.
Wipes and transitions. Use wipe elements to reveal or hide layers. Combine a wipe with a frame to animate in a layer with an artistic border.
Frames. Apply frames as luma mattes to give any layer a hand-drawn edge. Some frames are subtle, others more aggressive.
12FPS and 24FPS. Content defaults to 12fps or 24fps for a cel animation feel, but you can reinterpret footage in the project panel to match your comp.
Combo mattes. Stack a wipe and a frame together to create custom animated transitions with hand-painted borders.
Expression-driven masks. Masks use expressions for easy adjustment and animation without manual tweaking.
Encoded in ProRes LT. High quality without bloated file sizes. Works in After Effects (including CS6), Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, and Nuke.
