What It Does

Path Visualizer draws the vertices, bezier curves, and control handles of your text layers, shape layers, and masks. The visualization updates in real time as you animate, making it useful for technical diagrams, blueprint styles, or simply revealing the structure of your typography and paths.

Key Features

Live animation sync. The vertex and handle drawings update automatically as you animate your source layer.

Multiple vertex styles. Choose between circle, diamond, or square markers for vertex points.

Customizable appearance. Control handle lengths, stroke widths, colors, and other stylistic parameters to match your design.

Resolution-independent scaling. The visualization adapts to the scale of your text or path, so you can scale infinitely without pixelation.

Text and shape support. Works with text layers, shape layers, and masks. Note that shape layer presets like polystar are not compatible.

3D workflow. Can be used in 3D by precomposing the layer first.

Who It’s For

Motion designers creating technical illustrations, blueprint animations, or kinetic typography will find this useful for showing how paths are constructed. It’s also handy for educational content explaining bezier curves or demonstrating type design.
