What It Does
OrganizerPro analyzes your After Effects project and sorts everything into a structured folder system. Select which compositions you want to organize, hit one button, and the script separates your render comps from precomps, images from videos, and used assets from unused clutter. The goal is to turn chaotic project panels into standardized folder structures without manual dragging.
Key Features
One-click sorting. Select compositions and run the script. It creates a RENDER folder for final comps and a RESOURCES folder for everything else (precomps, images, videos, audio, solids). Precomps get their own subfolders. Shared precomps go into a dedicated folder.
File type organization. Customize which file extensions go where. Add or remove extensions with +/– buttons. Unsorted files land in an OTHERS folder. Useful when managing projects with mixed footage types or client-supplied assets.
Preset sharing. Save your folder structure settings as a preset file. Drop the preset into a team folder and everyone gets the same organization system. Presets live in Documents > OrganizerPro, so you can swap them per project or client.
Archive mode. When a project is done, run the archive function. It organizes the panel and prompts you to collect files. Keeps both the project file and disk structure clean for handoff or archival.
Zero-based comp timing. Optionally start all compositions at frame 0 for consistency across editors.
Project optimization. Removes unused items and empty folders during organization. Cuts down on bloat in large projects.
Sources folder. Anything not used in your selected comps gets moved to a Sources folder if you don’t enable the “reduce project” option. Helps isolate client-supplied files you didn’t end up using.
