What It Does

Moshun is an animated display typeface built specifically for After Effects. Each letter comes pre-animated with motion that emphasizes the contrast between solid shapes and fine lines. The static version uses two stackable fonts that layer together to create a bi-colored effect.

The typeface includes A-Z, 0-9, comma, and period. Characters are delivered in both JSX format (lightweight, works with Font Manager) and as organized .aep files.

Key Features

Three-color customization. Control the color scheme with simple parameters rather than hunting through nested composition layers.

Font Manager integration. Type naturally in After Effects, set tracking, line spacing, and text alignment through Font Manager’s interface. The tool generates a controller for Moshun’s settings automatically.

Static + animated versions. Use the animated version for motion work or the static bi-color version for titles that don’t need movement.

Animography Controller support. Drag characters into your comp and parent controller settings with one button. Works without Font Manager if you prefer that workflow.

Who It’s For

Motion designers creating titles that need bold, graphic movement. The strong contrast makes it readable even when animated, useful for bumpers, title cards, or anywhere you want typographic impact without custom animation work. The bundle discount (25% off when ordering four or more Animography typefaces) makes sense if you’re building a library of animated type options.

Pricing

Moshun uses pay-what-you-want pricing. The suggested pricing is €25 for the animated version, €15 for the static version, or €40 for both together. There’s a free seven-day trial (JSX format, includes A, B, C characters only, requires Font Manager which also has a free trial). No subscription, just a one-time payment at whatever amount you choose.
