What It Does

Marker Batch Editor gives you batch control over markers in After Effects. Select multiple layers and edit all their marker attributes at once, or work with comp markers when nothing is selected. You can change durations, delete markers in bulk, shift them in time, and export marker data to text files with custom formatting.

Key Features

Batch attribute editing. Change marker properties across all selected layers or comp markers within the work area. No more clicking through markers one by one.

Delete and time-shift markers. Remove markers in bulk or shift their timing across multiple layers simultaneously.

Text export with custom formatting. Export markers to a text file in whatever format you need. The plugin supports special text commands like [savecomment], [layername], [layerindex], [compname], and [projectname] that you can insert into your export template.

Comp marker support. Version 2.0 added full support for comp markers and marker duration editing, expanding beyond just layer markers.

Who It’s For

Useful if you’re working with heavily marker-dependent projects like audio sync work, client review workflows, or timed animations where you need to adjust many markers at once. Also helpful for extracting marker data for documentation or handoff.
