What It Did
malty: Simple Camera Rig automated the setup of 3D camera rigs in After Effects with a single click. It worked with native After Effects cameras and supported third-party 3D plugins like Element 3D, Plexus, Particular, and ray-traced rendering for extruded vector layers.

Global Settings across compositions. Maintained consistent camera settings when working across multiple comps in a project.
Mimic Camera module. Simplified precomping workflows by allowing cameras to be easily duplicated or referenced across nested compositions.
Sure Target support. Integrated with the Sure Target aiming system for precise camera direction control.
The script modified the PresetEffects.xml file during installation and required read/write permissions to that file. It came with over 2 hours of free training videos.
