What It Does
Madita generates animated script text where each character flows seamlessly into the next. Unlike static typefaces, it handles the connections between letters automatically, maintaining visual continuity through both design and animation. Characters are built with adjustable strokes that you control via sliders, letting you shift between clean vector styles and rougher, handwritten looks.
Key Features
Stroke controls. Adjust thickness, width, and angle of the stroke independently. Stack multiple variations of the same character to create layered effects.
Ink blend slider. Simulates ink blending into paper. Slide toward zero for sharp vector edges, or push it higher for a textured, hand-drawn appearance.
Dual-color system. Each character supports two independent colors, useful for creating dimensional effects or separating foreground and background elements.
Bulges and splashes. Toggle decorative elements on or off. Delay the out-animation separately from the in-animation for more control over timing.
JSX format. Ships as a lightweight JSX file that integrates with Font Manager (sold separately). Also includes an organized .aep file with all animated characters as pre-built compositions.
Full character set. Includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers, punctuation, and extended Latin characters (À, Ñ, Ø, etc.).

Madita uses a pay-what-you-want pricing model, with a suggested price of €35 (around $40). You decide what to pay based on your budget and how you value the tool. A free trial lets you test characters A, B, and C for seven days in JSX format. The trial requires Font Manager, which also offers its own free trial. If you purchase four or more Animography typefaces, you receive a 25% discount across all of them.
