What It Does
Lovelo converts a bold geometric sans serif into an animated typeface with flowing outline strokes. Built entirely with shape layers, it scales infinitely without quality loss. The 6 independent strokes along each character’s outline can animate in loops or transition text on and off screen.
The plugin includes both a JSX format (works with Font Manager) and an organized AEP file containing all animated characters, including extended Latin support and common punctuation.
Key Features
64 controllers. Adjust stroke speed, width, color, length, visibility, and offset independently for each of the 6 outline strokes. Toggle the original filled shape for use as a track matte.
12 preset styles. Start with ready-made looks and customize from there, or build your own from scratch. Presets change the overall stroke behavior with a single click.
Font Manager integration. Type directly with Lovelo using Font Manager, adjusting size, tracking, line spacing, alignment, and time offset. A controller automatically generates for customization.
For those not using Font Manager, the free Animography Controller tool lets you drag characters to a comp and parent controller settings manually.
Who It’s For
Useful for title animations, social media posts, and motion graphics where geometric type with custom stroke treatments fits the style. Works well for looping backgrounds or one-off animated headlines.
The free static version of Lovelo is available from Fontfabric, making it easy to match animated and static text in the same project.

Lovelo uses a pay-what-you-want model. You set the price when purchasing. A 7-day free trial covers characters A, B, and C (requires Font Manager, which also has a free trial).
Purchasing 4 or more Animography typefaces saves 25% on the order. Compatible with After Effects 2020 through 2024 (and CS6+).
