What It Does
Looper Pack 2 provides forty 4K (3840 x 2160) seamlessly looping black-and-white texture mattes for After Effects. Each loop runs one second at 24fps, set on the twos (each frame repeats twice) for smoother playback. These hand-crafted textures add visual depth to motion graphics, title sequences, and composites through grain, grit, abstract patterns, and dynamic line work.
The loops work standalone or integrate with Ray Dynamic Texture. Apply them using blending modes like Multiply, Add, or Overlay, then adjust brightness with Curves to dial in the exact look. Time Remapping lets you speed up or slow down any loop without breaking the seamless repeat.
Key Features
Higher resolution. At 4K, these loops are twice the resolution of the original Looper Pack’s 2K files. More pixels means better quality when scaling or cropping.
Multiple delivery formats. Choose between QuickTime movies (ProRes 422), PNG sequences (fully uncompressed), or a pre-made Ray Dynamic Texture After Effects project file. The QuickTime files balance quality and file size through ProRes compression with no visible quality loss.
Varied textures. Beyond basic grain and grit, this pack includes more dynamic and abstract patterns. The included thumbnail gallery shows the full range, from organic noise to geometric lines to experimental glitch-style artifacts.
Organized workflow. All forty loops are grouped into four sets of ten, arranged alphabetically with punny names (Wavy Bacon, Stormy Daniels, Irregular Hatch). The naming system makes it easy to remember which texture does what.
Who It’s For
Motion designers working on title sequences, broadcast graphics, or music videos will find these useful for adding texture overlays without building them from scratch. The 4K resolution works well for both HD and 4K final deliveries. Editors looking to add organic imperfections or vintage aesthetics can layer these over clean footage using blending modes.
