What It Does

lipsyncr 2 analyzes English speech in audio files and automatically generates lip-sync animations by matching mouth shapes (visemes) to the audio. The plugin maps phonemes to visual mouth positions and creates corresponding keyframes, turning work that might take hours into a task completed in seconds.

Key Features

Three viseme quality levels. Choose between 4 illustrations (low quality), 7 illustrations (medium quality), or 10 illustrations (high quality) depending on your project’s animation detail needs.

Template-based workflow. Start with a template composition at your chosen viseme count, replace the placeholder images with your character’s mouth shapes, import your audio and transcription, and let lipsyncr analyze and animate.

Multiple audio track support. Combine any number of audio files and mouth compositions in a single project. Each audio track can have its own mouth composition and viseme mapping.

Manual mode for other languages. While the automatic speech analysis only works with English, the plugin includes a manual mode for animating lip-sync in other languages. The tutorial videos demonstrate using Premiere Pro Speech Analysis as an alternative workflow.

Template viseme images. Includes illustration guides to help you create mouth shape images that align with the plugin’s viseme mapping system.

Who It’s For

Character animators working with dialogue-heavy projects will save significant production time. The flexible workflow suits both quick animations (using the 4-viseme setup) and detailed character work (10-viseme mapping). If you regularly animate talking characters or need to sync multiple voice tracks to different characters, lipsyncr handles these scenarios without duplicating manual effort.

Pricing

lipsyncr 2 costs $59.99 for a single-user license. A trial version is available to test the plugin before purchasing.
