What It Does
Layers Pro handles bulk operations across multiple compositions. Copy a layer into 50 comps, replace all instances of an effect, delete specific masks project-wide, or change composition settings en masse. It includes search to locate target comps and layers, or you can select them manually.
Key Features
Layer management. Copy layers across selected comps, replace existing layers with new ones, or delete matching layers throughout the project. Useful when you need identical elements in many comps or want to swap a logo across dozens of title cards.
Effects and properties. Copy effects to multiple layers, replace property values across comps, or remove unwanted effects project-wide. For example, if you applied the wrong blur settings to 30 comps, you can replace them all in one operation.
Composition settings. Change duration, frame rate, resolution, or comp switches (like motion blur or collapse transformations) across selected comps. Handy when client specs change or you’re standardizing settings in a large project.
Mask operations. Copy, replace, or remove masks on selected layers. If you’ve built a complex mask once and need it on 20 similar layers, this eliminates the tedium.
