What It Does
Find My AEP locates your current After Effects project file in the Mac Finder or Windows Explorer. Run it from the File menu, and the plugin highlights the .aep file wherever it lives on your system.
Key Features
Cross-platform support. Works on both Windows and macOS with identical functionality.
Cloud storage compatibility. Finds project files stored in Google Drive, Dropbox, and other cloud sync folders, not just local drives.
Custom keyboard shortcuts. Map the reveal command to any shortcut that fits your workflow. A typical mapping might be Ctrl+Alt+Shift+O on Windows or ⌘+⌥+Shift+O on Mac.
KBar integration. Access the command through KBar if you use that launcher.
Who It’s For
Useful if you work with many project files across different folders, collaborate on shared drives, or need to quickly access the file system location of your current project. Also helpful when troubleshooting file paths or collecting project dependencies.
Pricing
