What It Does
Ease Sync creates reusable easing by linking a control animation curve to any set of keyframes in After Effects. Select keyframes, click Link, and they inherit the control curve’s timing. When you adjust the control curve, all linked keyframes update automatically. The original keyframe positions and values stay editable.
Key Features
Control curve workflow. Select keyframes you want to share easing, link them to a control animation, then adjust the control curve. All linked frames update in sync.
Project-wide scope. Apply easing within a single layer, across a composition, or throughout an entire project. Particularly useful when managing consistent motion across multiple comps.
Independent In/Out easing. A single property can link to different easing curves for its In and Out animations, giving you separate control over entry and exit timing.
Non-destructive editing. After syncing, keyframes remain editable. You can still adjust their positions and values without breaking the easing link.
Layered sync. Apply additional easing links to keyframes that already have control easing, building complex timing relationships.
Visual markers. Labels automatically mark synced keyframes in the timeline, making it easy to see which frames are linked to control curves.
Who It’s For
Motion designers working on projects with repeated timing patterns, like branded animations or template builds where multiple elements need identical easing. Also useful for animators who want to test different easing curves across a composition without manually adjusting every keyframe.
Pricing
Ease Sync costs $13 as a one-time purchase. License covers installation on one computer with one archival copy.
