What It Does

DeepClear analyzes video footage using deep learning algorithms to improve image quality in three ways: removing blur, reducing noise, and enhancing contrast. The plugin handles both out-of-focus blur and motion blur, works on various content types (portraits, text, cartoons, natural images), and runs GPU-accelerated on both Mac and Windows.

Key Features

AI Deblurring. Sharpens footage by enhancing details without introducing artifacts or halos. Handles defocus issues and motion blur across different image types, from portraits to cartoons.

Noise Reduction. Removes grain and noise from low-light or high-ISO footage while preserving detail. The AI-driven approach keeps images sharp instead of applying a blanket blur like traditional denoisers.

Contrast Enhancement. Uses advanced histogram equalization to boost clarity while maintaining natural-looking results. Improves visibility in flat or low-contrast footage without overdoing it.

GPU Acceleration. Processes frames faster by offloading computation to your graphics card. Performance depends heavily on GPU capability, older cards from before 2012 are not supported.

Who It’s For

Useful for salvaging footage shot in challenging conditions (low light, fast motion, soft focus) or uplifting archive material that lacks sharpness. Also relevant for anyone working with upscaled or compressed video that needs detail recovery.

Pricing

Single-user license costs $59.99. Floating and render-only licenses are available. A trial version is provided, test it before purchasing since performance varies significantly based on your GPU. Works with After Effects and Premiere Pro versions 2020 through 2025.
