What It Does

Credits Roller builds animated credit rolls and pages from structured data files. Import a CSV file from Excel or Google Sheets, choose your layout and alignment, adjust styling, and generate a fully formatted credit sequence. The plugin handles all the tedious work of positioning names, formatting titles, and creating smooth scrolls.

Supports CSV, TSV, and JSON file formats. Includes full RTL (right-to-left) text support for languages like Arabic and Hebrew.

Key Features

Three layout modes. Choose between lower-third, scroll, or fullpage layouts depending on your project needs.

Four alignment options. Position credits left-aligned, centered, title-above, or center-between, each with RTL equivalents.

Preset system. Save and load settings so you can standardize credit styles across projects. Hit “Build” to regenerate rolls instantly when your data changes.

Font loader. Load custom fonts directly through the plugin interface.

Additional controls. Adjust column spacing, fade settings, duration, and toggle separators. Option to hide titles when needed.

Keyboard shortcuts. Press Space to build, I to import, or A/S/D to switch tabs.

Who It’s For

Useful for editors working on films, documentaries, or corporate videos where credit lists change frequently. The spreadsheet workflow lets producers update names in Google Sheets while you maintain formatting in After Effects.

Also helpful for multilingual projects that require RTL text support.

Pricing

Pay-what-you-want pricing, though the plugin is currently listed at $39.99. Free trial available, limited to three pages per credit sequence.
