What It Does
Copy Paste Markers fills a gap in After Effects’ native UI by letting you copy markers from one layer and paste them onto any other layer. You can copy a single marker at the current time, all markers across the comp length, or target specific ranges based on your timeline position.
Key Features
Marker at current time. Copy the marker positioned at your playhead’s current location.
All markers (comp length). Grab every marker on a layer from start to finish.
Work area selection. Copy only the markers within your defined work area (unavailable in demo).
Before/after current time. Target markers that fall before or after the playhead (unavailable in demo).
Who It’s For
Useful for editors managing complex timelines where markers track audio cues, beat points, or scene changes. Instead of manually recreating markers across multiple layers, you paste them in one action. Works well for projects with repeating motion graphics tied to a soundtrack or dialogue.
Pricing
Pay-what-you-want pricing. You set the amount when purchasing. A portion of proceeds supports the developer’s indie animated film project. The demo version limits some features (work area and before/after current time options).
Compatible with After Effects CS6 through CC 2019.
