What It Does
COMP-O-RAMA replaces the repetitive cycle of New Composition, adjust settings, duplicate, rename, repeat. You build a queue of compositions from presets or your own templates, then create them all in one click. It also handles bulk editing across queued comps, smart token-based naming, and versioning from CSV lists.
Key Features
Queue system. Add presets or custom templates to a queue, drag to reorder, organize into folders. When you’re ready, one button creates every comp in the list.
30+ built-in presets. Covers social media formats, HD, 4K, cinema, broadcast, high frame rate, and animation. Star your most-used presets to pin them to the top.
Smart Naming. Write one naming pattern using tokens like {width}, {fps}, {index}, {date}, and {project}. Every comp in the queue gets its own generated name. Fourteen tokens are built in, and you can define your own. The same engine drives names for duplicates and render output files.
Bulk Edit. Select multiple queued comps and change one property, like width, duration, or background color, and all selected items update together. The “Match Current Composition” option pulls settings directly from whatever comp is open.
Duplicate from List. Drop in a CSV (or paste a list, or set a numeric range), select master comps, and generate one duplicate per source item per master in a single undoable batch. Useful for country/market/language versioning where you might otherwise spend hours on manual duplication.
Add to Render Queue. After creating or duplicating comps, queue them straight to AE’s render queue with named output files. Pick an output module, destination folder, and filename pattern, then queue everything in one click.
Queue Templates. Save any queue configuration as a reusable template. Brand pack, YouTube cuts, social bundle, whatever your standard project setup looks like. Load the whole thing on the next project in one click.
Who It’s For
Motion designers and editors who start every project by building the same set of compositions. Agencies cutting ads across multiple aspect ratios. Studios doing market versioning across regions or languages. If you’ve ever typed “New Composition” a dozen times in a row before doing any actual work, this tool addresses that directly.
Pricing
