What It Does
Changes the default easing percentages applied by After Effects’ built-in Easy Ease keyboard shortcuts. Instead of the standard 33.33% influence, you set custom values for F9 (Easy Ease), Shift+F9 (Ease Out), and Cmd/Ctrl+F9 (Ease In). The script includes helper files that you assign to those shortcuts, letting you apply your preferred easing instantly without opening the Keyframe Velocity dialog or dragging bezier handles.
Key Features
Custom easing values. Enter your preferred influence percentages in the script panel. Choose different values for each easing type (Ease In, Ease Out, Easy Ease) or use the same value across all three.
Helper scripts for shortcuts. Comes with three helper scripts that you assign to F9, Shift+F9, and Cmd/Ctrl+F9 via After Effects’ scripting menu. The order matters, so reset your shortcuts if you change the helper script files.
Compatibility with older versions. Works in After Effects 2025 back to CS6. Version 1.1 (September 2024) fixed preference file bugs and added 2025 support.
Who It’s For
Useful if you find yourself constantly tweaking the default 33.33% easing to a different value, or if you work with a specific easing style across multiple projects (like 60% for snappier motion graphics or 80% for smoother transitions). Saves repetitive adjustments when you already know what easing influence you prefer.
Pricing
Pay-what-you-want model with a suggested minimum of $4.99. Individual users can set their own price; businesses and teams should pay the suggested amount for a valid license.
